So I finally watched this Star Trek trailer that everyone’s going so gaga over. I heard there was some issue with Simon Pegg’s scottish accent. I can honestly say, from the very brief two lines heard from him, that it sounds geniuine. Almost like David Tennent.

As someone who could give 2 shits about Star Trek; It look ok. I’m sure it’ll be a fun actioney romp, but I’m worried that it’ll be too involved for non Trekkies such as myself and that we’ll get totally lost in certain scenes. Then again, so goes it for all series “Re-boots”
