5 Days

Well, I have 5 days left of college work. Anyone who knows me personally or has spoken to me recently will know I’ve been in full frontal stress mode. To know that I’m mearly a week away from almost freedom is a relief not only to me but probably everyone around me by this stage.

Of my work left to complete, I have to do the sound for a minute and a half movie trailer and write 700 words on the process. I chose to take mini trailers for WALL*E and combine them into one. This is due to the minimal amount of spoken sound, but high amount of other sounds (whirs, Beeps, ambient etc). Should be fun.

I have to finish my evaluational essay on my years work. Not easy. I’m not really sure what I should be writing and I’m not a huge fan of blowing my own trumpet, I would much prefer someone blew it for me. Metaphorically and, sheerly as a stress reliever, physically too right now.

I’ve been playing Command And Conquer 3 some more in free time. Still loving it. Still trying to perfect my Engineer Rush Stratagy. I have the basic set up down, I just need to figure out how to beat different play styles with it; Rushers, Turtles, Goliaths, Neutrals. I fould that other Rushers are my biggest threat, the sole reason being that GDI tank spam STILL works, over a year after realease. I cannot believe that it’s not been tweaked to shit, but that’s just me.

After assigning some demo’s for the boys to play this week for CoMutiny, I realised that I myself hadn’t even downloaded them let alone played them. I hear good thing from Ryan about Bad Company, though I will have to try for myself.

Speaking of Ryan, he, my girlfriend and I are planning on gutting the “CoMutiny Studio” next week and completely reworking it. In otherwords, my desk area. Anyone who has even been treated to a CoMutiny Live show or random Ustream appearence will have seen how messy my desk is.

My laptop continues to be awesome, and I still haven’t had much trouble with vista yet. I’ll admit, I’m still finding my feet with some things, but overall, it’s been a smooth learning curve. The automatic wallpaper changer I put on my toolbar is freaking sweet, providing me with a plethera of beautiful high res images. 1440 x 900 = Sex. It looks especially good on my HDTV, as I have been hooking it up for gaming sessions this week. Looks sensational.

Saw Ironman again, it is still 3.5/5.
