Command And Conquer 3

I’ve started playing C&C3 during work and study breaks. Shoot me a comment on this blog if you want to meet up for a game. I played LazyGuy216 today, a good friend of CoMutiny, and we’re currently 1 for 1.

First game, I tried my patented engieneer rush. Unfortunatly, I haven’t played in a while, so I got my ass handed to me. He had a bunch of Basic infantry units which blew me to shit before I could even react. I then spent the rest of the game trying to build up my army, hoping that LG wouldn’t be smart enough to defend against my awesome defensive base. Yeah that didn’t work.

Second full game (I had a crash 2 mins into our second game) I didn’t try the rush, Instead going for a more open approach. Trying to play the game like it’s turnbased, but in real time. If that doesn’t make sense to you, then you’re sensible. It was the Downtown USA map, and I did the usual base expansion strat. Lazyguy was the first offencive move, going straight for my main base. However, I did not only have a bunch of Avatars there, but had even more (with a large backup force) on my secondary base. He thought (as did I) he had me beat, but I made a pincer move, forcing him to retreat what units he had left. It was a pretty intense match, and without my lucky as shit pincer I’d have definently lost. It was an all or nothing move, and it paid off.
