Indiana Jones is better than…

Ironman, without a shadow of a doubt.

We got a special staff showing of it tonight, a few hours before the public, a nice perk of the job. Oh did I mention it was free?

The general consensus seems to be thus; if you have seen the first three, you will find this movie between mediocre and downright insulting. If, like me, you’ve never seen the first three, this movie is a fun and exciting action adventure flick that made me laugh out loud several times with glee. The only issue I could raise about the movie is that the CG at points was downright terrible, like 1990’s terrible. There is a fairly memorable sword fight that was ruined by the sheer obviousness that a chroma key or green screen was being used. It was actually distracting.

Overall, it’s a surprise contender for my movie of the summer. However, It’s got a long way to go to beat what I think will be the tip toppity of the top.
