Fallout 3 (360)
Finally finished up the main quest and spent a good portion of today finishing the remaining quests (sans the Broken Steel DLC ones) and locating the remaining bobbleheads.  It’s so strange; I haven’t had a game suck me into it like this since Dead Rising, but 45 hours later, it’s done.  Also, I didn’t realize that the B.S. DLC added new enemies.  I’m running around in the Wastelands and notice two Albino Giant Radscorpions.  Surely, they’ll be as easy to kill as their brethren, right?
FUCK NO!  They ripped me apart in mere seconds!  I know, I know — egg and my face were in alignment.  There are four more packs to download, but I might just step back from this game fer a bit.

Allow me to offer a counter point.

THIS GAME IS A GIGANTIC PAIN IN MY ASS!

Seriously, I don’t get why I try and convince myself to play it. I’ll try and summarize why this game drives me up the wall.

1) Aiming doesn’t seem to really do anything. I know, I get it, It’s an RPG, but it’s an RPG with guns, if I point my gun at somethings head, that’s a headshot, right?
2) Spraseness. I get that’s kinda the point, but you never have enough ammo or health, and not in a fun “OHHHH SHIT THIS IS GONNA BE CLOSE” way, more in a “Oh, fuck, I’ve come into this area, and now can’t get out cause I don’t have any ammo left and there are enemies” which leads me happily onto
3) Uncertainty. Uncertainty to do a certain action in a game can be a good thing. But I hate feeling like I can’t explore anywhere, because I fear getting to deep into an area, and then fast realizing that this area is not suited for my equiptement, skill or level.

4) Seriously, Y button to jump?

5) If you don’t really know what you’re doing, and the game doesn’t REALLY give you that much help, when it comes to creating your character, you find that you’ve not set up your character for the way you want to play, and too bad. I can’t hack anything cause my science is not lvl 20, I can’t Lie to anyone cause my speech is too low. There’s no real way of knowing what “class” of character you’re rolling when you do so, you just kinda hope that you rolled well.

I’m literally ready to completely abandon hope on this game. I’m sick of trying to scavange for food, ammo, supplies and then getting punished by enemies cause I don’t have any Food, Ammo or Supplies. Zoom
